Launching of a network of Ph.Ds in Marseille

Initiated by few Ph.Ds, the French community of Ph.Ds in Marseille is a new network, open to all professions, whatever your field is. Main objectives are to:

• regroup Ph.Ds
• facilitate the development of their professional network and of their curriculum
• increase the visibility of Ph.D in the society.

This network is open to everyone, with no fee nor membership. It is organized following 2 axis: regular Afterworks and discussions through a mailing list.

Afterworks

Afterworks are informal meetings around a drink and/or a meal, in a free discussion mode with the pleasure to meet each other. Participants get acquainted, enrich their point of view and their network. Themes federalizing Ph.Ds from different fields are many: research and innovation, jobs in PACA, career with a Ph.D, personal experience sharing, etc.

The CFD-Marseille is open to everyone: Ph.Ds, but also Ph.D candidates and any one working on professional support to Ph.Ds and Ph.D candidates. CDF-Marseille is a local branch of the Communauté française des docteurs, that gather together thousands of French Ph.Ds.
